Children give to charity

The most thoughtful gift-giving I have seen have come from children... children who thoughtfully give their gifts to someone else in need.

I'm fortunate to be inspired by one family, including 3 boys, who give all of their birthday gifts to charity - every year, every boy's birthday. Mom and Dad, who know they can provide a gift for each of their sons, encourages their children to learn more about giving by giving to others. On birthday party invites their childs tell friends about a specific charity and encourage all party-goers to give a gift that will benefit the children of the chosen charity.

Last week I saw mom and son. With pride they said, "we dropped off another birthday party donation." Then son followed up this, "And our friends are catching on. One of my friends had a birthday party and he donated his presents too!" Wow!

365 salutes these children who so selflessly and thoughtfully give to others!
